5 Crucial Link Building Techniques

Link building is very important part of SEO technique which provides backlinks to the websites from other websites. When your website has quality backlinks, then it is given preference by Google, yahoo, Bing etc. search engines, while considering the ranking of a website. So, backlinks creation is an important aspect through which you can promote your site in search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing.

Link Building is a very effective method, but is a very long task to perform. So, many webmasters use wrong methods to get more backlinks because they do not have so much time to devote to link building.

Quality backlinks mean links from a website which has genuine and unique content. These quality backlinks are taken into consideration by search engines when ranking a website.

Here are some crucial link building techniques:

INTERLINKING

Interlinking, or the practice of building internal links, is linking to other pages on your website. These can come in a variety of forms including page links or content area links. Linking to individual pages is also important. For example, if you are talking about marketing services, link to a dedicated page on your website. Not only does that signal to search engines another way to easily navigate through your site but also gives your readers a chance to gain more info on what they are currently reading.

RECIPROCAL LINKS

In addition to seeing that a website’s internal pages link together, search engines also look for links that people have shared from your site. Common links that people share from your site can include blog posts, news stories, contests, etc. Search engines keep track of how recent pages have been shared which influences your site’s authority. A reciprocal link is a website you link to, that also links back to your site. A blogroll, typically located on the right side of blogs, is a key place for building reciprocal links. The blogroll serves as a directory for various resources that compliment your blog and relate to your content. You will need to contact various blog developers or associations if you wish to share a reciprocal link. If you are able to obtain reciprocal links from well known associations, blogs or companies, this will give you greater search authority and trustworthy references.

LINK NAMING

Have you ever included a link on your website that said, “read more” or “click here”? Naming your links as such will not give you any SEO benefits. Instead, use more descriptive link names. For example, this link invites you to learn more about 5 Ways to convert Leads to Deals. Notice that the link is exactly what the post is all about once you click on it. And, if you hover over it, the alt text, or anchor text (picked up by search engines), indicates that it is indeed about Converting Leads to Deals.

SOCIAL PROFILE LINKING

The more information search engines can find on you, the quicker you become visible and gain authority. Connecting your social profiles, website, and blog gives search engines more information. Having linking social icons across the top of your website and blog makes it easy for someone to find those pages. Also, having social profiles link to other social profiles, your website, and blog increases link influence. You can observe this same technique within my all blog posts.

SOCIAL BOOKMARKING

Social bookmarking sites are great for indexing various blogs or web pages that you’ve created. They are helpful in generating more backlinks to your website or blog. Some of the most popular social bookmarking sites include, Twitter, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Delicious, and Digg etc.

The purpose of link building is to make your site more visible to those searching for your content, and to also help search engines give you authority. It is important to keep two things in mind when link building: relevance and value. Are you creating relevant content that people can relate to you and your business? And, is the content you are creating providing value to them? Does the content help answer a question? Does it provide useful or valuable information to them? These are all important questions to ask as you follow these best practices of link building! What to know what not to do?

5 ways to convert Leads to Deals

It’s a big challenge to convert leads. Especially in the business of lead generation (those using telemarketing, in particular). The success rate can be really low, regardless of what industry you belong to, but suffice it to say that you will do everything you can to keep the business to business leads that you already have.

All that remains is to turn these sales leads into actual sales. But how do you do it? How can you make your business proposal acceptable to prospects, convincing them to do business with you?

This are the most important ones are the five points that are enumerated below:

    1. Give a proposal, not an estimate – when you give your prospects a proposal, you are focusing on the problems they have, what your company has, and the kind of solution that you can provide. If you simply give prospects an estimate, you are only listing down the costs they will incur if they hire you. Which do you think will be most likely to convert sales leads into deals?

You should more focus on the fact why they might need to hire you? What advantages you can provide that others can’t

2. Your summary should be persuasive – The summary of your proposal should contain some convincing power to sway your prospects.

3.  Keep your proposal short – as a rule, the shorter your proposal, the better your chances of getting new business deals, Take note that you are providing a quick solution for prospects. It will not do you good if you present them a whole ream to peruse. Five pages would be sufficient, with your executive summary not more than a page in length. That will do the trick.

4. Put your proposals online – there are times where prospects simply do not have the time, or the space, to read paper proposals. By putting your proposal online, you enhance your chances of getting these prospects to do business with you. Not only that, you also shorten the time it takes to turn a proposal into an actual business deal. It is also more convenient for prospects to read your proposal online. Just make sure that what you write is readable no matter what medium they use to read it.

    5. Send your proposal to the client quickly – the saying ‘strike while the iron is hot’ is one advice that you should keep in mind. The faster you send your prospect the requested proposal, the higher your chances of clinching the deal. That is an important consideration, since you do not want to lose whatever business leads that you already have in your hands. You do not want your competition beating you to it.

Essentials of Viral Marketing Strategy

Below are the six basic elements you hope to include in your strategy. A viral marketing strategy need not contain ALL these elements, but the more elements it embraces, the more powerful the results are likely to be. An effective viral marketing strategy:

1. Gives away products or services:

“The Law of Giving and Selling”. “Cheap” or “inexpensive” may generate a wave of  interest, but “free” will usually do it much faster.

2. Provides for effortless transfer to others:

The medium that carries your marketing message must be easy to transfer and replicate:   email, website, graphic, software download. Viral marketing works famously on the  Internet because instant communication is easy and inexpensive.

3. Scales easily from small to very large:

To spread like wildfire, the transmission method must be rapidly scalable from small to very large.

4. Exploits common motivations and behaviors:

Clever viral marketing plans take advantage of common human motivations. Design a marketing strategy that builds on common motivations and behaviors for its transmission, and you have a winner.

5. Utilizes existing communication networks:

A person’s broader network may consist of scores, hundreds, or thousands of people, depending upon his or her position in society. People on the Internet develop networks of relationships, too. They collect email addresses and favorite website URLs. Affiliate programs exploit such networks, as do permission email lists. Learn to place your message into existing communications between people, and you rapidly multiply its dispersion.

6. Takes advantage of others’ resources:

The most creative viral marketing plans use others’ resources to get the word out. Affiliate programs, for example, place text or graphic links on others’ websites.
